What time is it?

This morning I woke up at "6:15" am and was surprised to find that my Mom hadn't woken up. I went to my bathroom, brushed my teeth, fixed my hair and stuff. I finished that and needed to get dressed, so I walked out of the bathroom and I couldn't see! It was pitch black and I couldn't figure out why. I went back in the bathroom, looked at the clock, and realized it was 5:45 am rather than 6:45 am! I was an HOUR early! It was pitch black because the sun hadn't come up yet!
How does that happen, dude? I've done that before, but I only sit-up and realize it's not time to wake-up yet, but for 45 minutes? I guess it shows how much of a zombie I am in the morning.
I ended up going back to bed for 20 minutes and then waking up (at the right hour) and doing some homework while I waited. Some good came out of it.
